River Garden Events on the San Juan River
We started browsing possible venues around February. In April we set a date for May 21st, 2011 and began a serious search. My mom sent me a link a facility and as it turned out Jim had been driving by this place everyday on his way to work, so we booked an appointment to tour the River Garden Events venue. It was early spring so nothing was green. The owner had everything torn apart doing a major remodel. The venue is so beautiful that it hardly took any imagination to visualize what it would look like all green and decided it was the place for us.What an amazing man. He has such great taste!!!
In May we went out for an open house to see the finished remodel and new services they had to offer. It was everything we thought it would be!

The Location
Approximately 40 miles from Farmington the venue is located in the beautiful community of Navajo Dam, New Mexico. River Garden Events is just a stones throw away from the world famous trout waters of the San Juan River. With the backdrop of a lush riverbank surrounded by a typical New Mexico rock wall this county setting will be the perfect place for us to say "I do".
